Our Story

Co-Robotics was founded in 2016 by Manuele Bonaccorsi and Filippo Cavallo, then respectively PHD and Assistant Professor at the BioRobotis Institute of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa. The mission of Co-Robotics is the exploitation and technology transfer of the research outcomes and the launch on the market of innovative technologies thanks to the expertise achieved in R&D.

Our Story

Track Record

Co-Robotics  is also continuously involved in product innovation projects for third parties.

Our Future

Roadmap

Co-Robotics  completed the first round of seed funding and it is now moving towards the business verticalization in relation to the robotic solutions developed.

Robot Era

Service Robotics

Robot-Era, Implementation and integration of advanced Robotic systems and intelligent Environments in real scenarios for the ageing population, FP7-288899, 2012-2015.

DORO and CORO are two companion robots outcomes of the Robot-Era project able to interact between each other. ASTRO is the development of these innovative platforms.

Wearable Sensors

Sensors and data processing

DAPHNE, A novel system of wearable sensors able to accurately and objectively measure the motor performance of patients with Parkinson’s disease supporting the diagnosis and analysis of the pathology.

HANDY glove is an innovative system able to measure the motor performance of upper limbs. It is exploiting to support the diagnosis of Parkinson’s disease. HANDY smart ring is its natural development.
